Position Summary:
The Tel-Sell Representative (TSR) is the direct source of Instant ticket sales for the Pennsylvania Lottery.  The Tel-Sell Representative is responsible for contacting assigned Lottery retailers, via telephone, and securing orders for instant lottery tickets for those retailers. The TSR also handles Lottery related questions and/or problems that they may encounter, which  results in maximizing sales of tickets through professional and sales techniques.

Job Functions:
• Contacts each retailer within assigned call list on a regular call cycles to ensure that each retailer is ordering tickets on a weekly basis
• Coordinates all activities with Tel-Sell Manager
• Provides information about new and existing games and promotions
• Ability to maintain associated call levels in a fast paced environment
• Maximize the Retailer’s sales of their instant ticket product through marketing while providing a professional level of customer service
• Access appropriate computer screens and input of sales orders with accuracy
• Maintain a positive working relationship with Lottery retailers and their designees
• Provide regular and consistent feedback from Lottery retailers to management to share retailer suggestions, ideas, and questions in a timely fashion
• Establish and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with District Lottery Representatives (DLR’s)
• Ability to comply with ACD guidelines
• Ability to meet sales and personal goals set by management
• Ability to respond to incoming calls from Lottery retailers, while resolving their problems and questions as they relate to the instant ticket product
• Ensure all calls from retailers and DLR’s receive complete attention and thorough follow-up.
• Ability to comply with all safety rules as designated
• Ability to have a flexible schedule up to and including overtime
• Ability to train new employees, as designated

Job Requirements



Position Requirements/Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Maintain a working knowledge of all products offered by the Pennsylvania Lottery.
• Maintain core customer service etiquette
• Ability to maintain satisfactory work performance.
• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Ability to work in a team-office environment
• Ability to operate office equipment, but not limited to, personal computer and telephone
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stretch at a minimum of 50% of the time for any or all of the movements described
