Job Description

The Technical Project Manger’s primary objective is to be responsible for delivering Linked Games projects on time, within budget and with high a degree of high quality for the Gaming Division. TPMs will also be responsible for effectively managing resources and communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions:
• Coordination and fulfillment for all TPM PMO technical projects, for both internal Linked Games projects and external Customer Projects
• Track and communicate the status of each project, both internally and externally, including status reporting, risk management, issue escalation and ensuring each project is delivered on time, in budget and within scope
• Develop, define, and build project documentation to support internal projects
• Understand the technical requirements for the network and systems for Bally and WMS Linked Games product lines
• The ability to communicate effectively in a technical environment
• Understanding of client/server architecture, network architecture and concepts, etc.
• Ensure procurement of all hardware and software required for both internal and external projects
• Work with internal and external customers to troubleshoot and problem solve issues related to projects
• Recommend solutions to improve business decision-making with a focus on the core systems, technology strategies, and standards
• Act as a technical liaison between stakeholders for internal and external customers
• Conduct internal and external customer calls as needed to complete project tasks
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate and co-ordinate across different groups
• Ensure quality of all projects by implementing continuous improvement to processes
• Escalate critical issues to management
• Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement events related to Linked Games
• Strive to meet departmental and corporate goals while performing daily tasks
• Participate in training as needed

Job Requirements

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 5 years equivalent work experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• 5+ years of experience in project management or related area
• 5+ years of experience in IT and/or networking.
• 5+ years of experience in customer relations positions

• Gaming Industry experience in project management required
• Strong understanding of network concepts, terminology and architecture including LAN concepts, cabling (copper and fiber), VLAN’s, routing and switching and other networking concepts
• Knowledge of Telecom concepts, components and terminology
• Knowledge of client/server architectures
• Experience with Microsoft office suite; Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel and Visio required
• Experience with Project Management tracking and workflow management tools
• 25% Travel Required

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for long periods of time
