Overview:
We currently have a rare opportunity for a Technical Account Manager based in Auckland within our Systems Department. This department support and maintain roughly 30 products that are used in Casinos and pubs and clubs. In this position you will oversee the coordination and management in the implementation of Proprietary products for customer sites. You will require strong communication skills to coordinate installations, provide training and resolving issues in a timely manner with our customers. This role will also require strong technical experience with exposure to software development and project management in both a waterfall and agile development environment.

Duties:
•Guides and manages all aspects of installations to meet deadlines for go live of systems
•Coordinates with technical leads/developers on all internal and external client deliverables
•Manages project SDLC and ownership of internal communication and production support post-launch
•Initiates, drives project and technical account planning activities such as kickoff, requirements, change control, stakeholder identification
•Measures customer risk at all levels and provides customer recommendations and solutions
•Identifies and manages project expectations ensuring all applicable functional areas are engaged
•Maintains project tracking utilizing various tools including JIRA, MS Project, Rally, and Excel
•Communicates deliverable status, risks/issues to stakeholders and leadership in a timely manner
•Collaborates with cross-functional teams including developers, quality assurance, technical leads
•Leads and ensures deliverables are aligned on goals, dates, milestones, dependencies, and risks
•Manages multiple new deliverable requests and production support updates concurrently
•Tracks, monitors, and reports project progress on a regular basis to the Executive Management Team through his/her direct supervisor
•Ensures product quality metrics are gathered; analyses data and implements corrective actions as required to improve quality.

Job Requirements



Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
The successful applicant is required to possess the below:
•At least 3-5 years’ experience managing IT projects of small to medium size, leveraging different project methodologies including the hosting of applications in private/public cloud.
•Strong knowledge of project management disciplines (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, PMBOK, etc.) and tools (JIRA, Siebel, MSProject, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
•Broad exposure and understanding of software development
•Strong knowledge of business and long term strategic goals
•Experience interacting with internal and external business partners
•Experience in measuring project success factors with respect to Resources, Schedule and Quality
•Ability to facilitate meetings with strong presentation skills with both internal teams and external customers
•Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management
•Self-starter with the ability to influence others in a direct and indirect organizational structure
•Excellent oral and written communication skills and willing to travel (50%)
•Proven track record of successful delivery of IT projects
