Lapis Software Associates is a Product development division of Scientific Games Inc., who is a global leader in providing customized, end-to-end gaming solutions to lottery and gaming organizations worldwide. Lapis has created some of the Lottery Industry's most innovative products and have provided software to many lotteries around the world.  We currently have a fast growing product development group based in our Warwick, Rhode Island office and need help to develop and support new customers and products.

For our development team in Warwick, Rl we are looking for:

software developers with good Java and Web development skills. The successful candidate will be expected to take full responsibility for designated parts of the systems that we develop and will need to take ownership of the design, development and testing of new sub­ components in addition to the redesign and improvement of existing subsystems. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a competent software designer/developer that enjoys working with the latest tools and technologies.

Job Requirements



Requirements

• Experience with the Java EE stack, especially JBoss, JPA/Hibernate and COl
• BS in Computer Science (or acceptable equivalent) and proven track record with 2 to 5 years of experience
• Ability to work individually or in small teams with minimal guidance
• Has a flexible and dynamic skill set and can work on various facets of a project
• Very good interpersonal, verbal communication and writing skills.
• Self-motivated individual with the able to help solve complex problems
• Ability to take on challenges/tasks and follow through to completion
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where multi-tasking is common.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Jetty and/or Netty
• Front-End and Back-End Web Development, JSF, PrimeFaces, Angular
• Javascript uauery)
• SQL
• CSS
• Ember, Angular or lndexedDB
