Job Description

The person in this position under the direct supervision of the Shipping Supervisor, picks, packs, ships orders and loads/unloads products on trucks as well as verifying shipment match bill or invoice.  Successfully moves material/Games throughout the facility, completes appropriate paperwork, and conducts inventory audits.

Essential Job Functions:
• Performs stock room functions including picking parts, stock maintenance, and inventory operations
• Moves material throughout facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack)
• Conducts material audits and performs visual or detailed inspections of materials as needed.  Notifies Lead Person of discrepancies
• Receives daily instruction from lead
• Verifies order accuracy
• Completes appropriate paperwork.
• Prepares goods for shipment, including staging, loading trucks, and documentation
• Delivers the correct material to the appropriate areas
• Maintains proper housekeeping throughout the entire shift to ensure safety
• Complies with Company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance
• Works responsibly and efficiently, adhering to all safety rules and policies
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
• Communicate concerns, discrepancies, and product information to management team.
• Trace lost shipments and/or claims of lost shipments; maintain proof of delivery documents.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.

Job Requirements

Training and/or Experience:
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Training of proper use of equipment
• High school graduate or equivalent, must be able to verify

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Basic reading and mathematical skills
• Ability to operate RF scanners and simple hand tools
• Ability to operate forklift, hand pallet jack, electric pallet, and ET cart in a safe manner and within company guidelines

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 100 pounds on a repetitive basis daily, or more on occasion
• push/pull with dolly up to 500 lbs
• Physical demands include exposure to extreme temperatures, temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm
•  Dusty and noisy environment when operating machines and tools
• Ear protection required when exposed to noise for an extended period of time, noise levels will vary but typically can be moderate to loud
• Overtime work could be involved and will be required if needed
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods of time
• Use of arms, hands, legs and back is required for repetitive motions of lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting
•  Position requires the ability to climb ladders and or onto equipment
