Job Description

Lead the engineering effort of major R&D projects and provide future looking technical guidance to the engineers in the group and the wider organization.

Essential Job Functions:  
• Actively contribute to the ongoing software design and development process of the group.
• Track technical innovations both within and outside of the industry. Make timely recommendations on their applicability to projects.
• Actively contribute to product reviews on target hardware.
• Work with engineers in other departments to create system-wide solutions.
• Engineer new code, and work with/enhance an existing code base.
• Train, mentor and manage other engineers

Job Requirements


• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Required Experience:
• Min 8 years C/C++/C# development experience that demonstrates an understanding and usage of solid-coding techniques, documentation, and managing the overall technical integrity of a code-base including portability, extensibility, and testability
• Six to ten years as a Lead Software Engineer in a software development environment or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with a compiler/development-environment and tools.
• Development experience in Windows. Linux/Android/iOS a plus.
• Experience with source-code control software: CVS, ClearCase, etc.
• Experienced in debugging, optimization, and profiling tools and techniques including debuggers, simulators, and emulators.
• Experience with Unity3D very desirable.
• A strong understanding and applicable experience in the following knowledge areas: -Network Protocols (TCP/IP) -Tools Building -Wireless Communications -Network and Software Security

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Proven ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to work in deadline driven environment, and respond creatively to pressure.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and quickly acclimatize to new technologies.
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
• Knowledge and experience with embedded development environments.
• Good verbal presentation skills

Physical Requirements:   Office environment

Work Conditions:  May require weekend and evening hours.
