Scientific Games has an exciting full time opportunity for a Senior Software Developer / Automation Engineer, based in our Silverwater Head Office.

This unique and exciting position will see you as an integral part of Research & Development Department. The purpose of the role is to lead the development of software products to enable the Quality Assurance Teams to transition to automated testing of the company’s products. This role will work in parallel with many cross functional teams within the business to achieve this goal. This role will require a high level of focus in leading compliance practices and reporting


- Implement automation of testing in the Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) and Electronic Table Games (ETS) development departments
- Attendance of game project review meetings
-Awareness of and communication to designated teams of jurisdictional requirements and changes
- Process & change management to assist with, and drive productivity
- Attendance of team meetings
- Awareness and monitoring of common game play implementation and ensuring its application
- Periodic reporting on project status
- Participate in and ensure that team members follow testing processes

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

- 5+ years of industry testing experience
-Strong knowledge and experience in C# and .net
- Exposure and knowledge Jenkins open source
- Exposure and knowledge of fitNesse (slimHost) open source
- Exposure and knowledge of Perforce version control
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of Quality Assurance Engineers
- Strong experience in a SCRUM and Agile environment
- Exposure and understanding of Continuous Integration Deployment & Testing. (CI/CD/CT)
- High level of interest and knowledge of the gaming industry
- Understanding game design concepts and their application and advising on the feasibility of these designs based on resources and project timelines
- High ability to work with technical correspondence, management, game design and other technical disciplines
