Job Description



The Senior Project Managerwill oversee the conception, implementation and analysis of internal projects. The successful candidate will have a background in quality operations, business, and/or IT and will have an extensive understanding of the manufacturing industry. We’re looking for a responsible, articulate and motivated Senior Project Manager who can quickly identify vulnerabilities and obstacles, and then create innovative solutions to any problems.
The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short-term/long term project which has a beginning, an end and specified deliverables.

Job Requirements



Qualifications
• 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
• 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
• 3+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation
• 3+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
• Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership  
• Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective
• Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment
• Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and understanding of developing budgets
• Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management
• Ability to motivate employees
• Knowledge of project management tools and processes
• Knowledge and understanding of process improvement
• Knowledge and ability on attention to detail
• Ability to drive project plan to expectations.

Physical Requirements:  
• Minimum of 25% travel

Work Conditions:
• Some weekends and evening may be required based on business needs
