Job Description



Responsible for assisting Compliance leadership to accomplish the department goals.  

Essential Job Functions:
• Works closely within Jurisdictional Engineering/Compliance to ensure product is submitted accurately based on the submission requirements of individual jurisdictions.
• Works closely with all departments and stakeholders to provide input regarding regulatory specific factors and/or concerns with new development as well as existing products.
• Builds strong product knowledge as well as regulatory lab process and requirements knowledge, to help forge world class relationships with regulatory/testing agency staff.
• Researches and interprets laws, statutes, regulations, technical standards and requirements for product and services, as required.
• Attends to technical issues and assists with investigations, reviews and reporting of product issues/deficiencies, as necessary.
• Researches, manages, and resolves any problems or discrepancies that the regulatory authorities/testing agencies encounter with submission/testing of gaming product.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and communication channels with regulatory authorities/testing agencies.
• Takes an active role in the preparation for product requirements as well as any high performance items, as required.
• Coordinates and reviews the technical documentation of all submission material for new product submissions, as required.
• Tracks, monitors and provides Compliance leadership written updates on technical project status.
• Trains subordinates as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements



Qualifications:
Education:  Bachelor of Science in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:  
• 5 + years’ experience, preferably with a gaming equipment manufacturer
• Extensive knowledge of gaming rules and regulations
• Gaming or regulatory experience
• Technical background preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; adept at internal and external correspondence at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software packages’ standard features.
• Ability to identify problems, analyze situations, and make appropriate recommendations and decisions to achieve mutually desired results.
• Ability to establish, monitor and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented and self-directed.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
