Job Description

Our Austin game studio working on the popular Gold Fish Casino is looking for a senior UI/UX Artist with out of this world talent and a healthy dose of Unity3D experience.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities include:
•Work closely and collaborate with Game Team and Art Manager to build UI graphics and designs
•Design, create, and implement UI with an expert understanding of the Social Casino space as well as an understanding of current trends in the best Social Games
•Work with the development team to create UI art from the mockup phase to final production
•Implement UI art and animations directly in engine – Unity3D and WebGL
•Create strong, cohesive UI style guides outlining stylistic consistency and usage rules
•Iterate on UI and add polish via animations and FX
•Maintain asset libraries and texture atlases with a high level of proficiency and organization
•Create ancillary graphic design work including branding/logos, typography, and marketing materials
•Mentor others and give constructive feedback
•Develop asset management systems and art pipelines
•Integrate and optimize assets into Unity
•Bring AAA content creation techniques to social games

Skills, experience and educational requirements:
•3+ years of experience producing high quality graphics on mobile apps or web
•2 Shipped mobile apps or game products preferably in the free to play space
•Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or Game Development
•Fundamental art skills and strong aesthetic sense
•Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)

Helpful Traits:
•Knowledge of asset version control tools such as SVN, GIT, Perforce or JIRA
•Experience in social game production
•Experience in SCRUM/Agile production
•Familiarity with popular Social Casino games

•Flash animations
•Layered working Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, and Studio Max files as appropriate to the position
