The SCM Production Support Specialist is interested in delivering quality solutions to help our organization drive customer satisfaction. The SCM Production Support Specialist will report to the Manager SCM Production Support and be a key member of a lean, high impact Production Support solutions team.  

Duties and Responsibilities
• Your primary focus will be the support of Oracle EBS, and a focus on SCM process standardization with the Team. You will work closely with your Team members to drive business strategy and process optimization, capture user requirements, and assist the IT development team in designing, testing, and implementing software solutions that meet the business’s needs.
• Collaborate with the team to assess the cross functional impacts of business decisions across the Oracle platform, and provide input on IT processes and procedures affecting the team.
• Partner with the user community - including executives - to identify their business requirements; analyze business processes; analyze source data; produce functional specifications, data flows and business rules; and assist with the implementation of those specifications.
• Help drive SCM process improvements and recommend best practices on the Oracle ERP platform; leverage your knowledge of best practices to help our organization utilize the solutions to maximize results.
• Drive the initiation, planning, requirements, design, test and post-production phases of the solution development life cycle.
• Serve as a lead in the configuration of Oracle and provide ongoing post-production support.
• Develop, document and perform system, integration, and user acceptance tests.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Drive the periodic release cycles and work with business stakeholders to prioritize bugs and enhancements.
• Provide project management support for IT initiatives and projects.
• Contribute to strategic planning within the Enterprise Applications organization and help define global business processes, KPIs and measurements with our analytics team.

Job Requirements



Education, Skills and Experience
• BA in Computer Science, Information Systems.
• Minimum 5 years of functional/technical experience with Oracle applications, preferably with PLM| Configurator | Costing |Inventory | Advanced Pricing | Warehouse Management modules.
• Past work experience as a developer.
• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development.
• Proven problem resolution and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize and adapt quickly to change in high pressure situations with minimal supervision required.
• Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated record of exceeding customer expectations.
• Solid business acumen; ability to understand and anticipate business needs in order to provide appropriate solutions.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and be able to negotiate if needed.
• Strong team player with excellent listening, interpersonal, facilitation, written, oral and communication skills; ability to effectively communicate concepts in both technical and user-friendly language to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Ability to work with external vendors to resolve issues and manage project initiatives
• Strong technical, problem resolution and analytical skills; able to multi task and prioritize effectively.
• Experience working with cross-functional, dispersed teams.
• Demonstrated Business Analyst work with large-scale ERP solutions is preferred.

Work Conditions   May require weekend and evening hours.  May require domestic travel.
