Job Description

Position Summary:
The Sales Analyst is responsible for design, create and deliver advanced analytics, and data visualization to both internal and external customers.  This position will support both the Online and Instant portion of the contract.  This position will work closely with the Puerto Rico Lottery to identify sales analysis, inventory management and project support to maximize revenue for both the customer and SG.  This position will create, maintain and customize all database related tasks in conjunction to analyze sales data and trend analysis to support the mission of the project and its customer.

Job Functions:
• Ability to interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Ability to design, create and deliver advance analytics.
• Ability to work with team members and management to increase revenue and identifying trends of lower progressing games.
• Ability to track and analyze market trends (economy, politics, legislation) that could impact the lottery business.
• Ability to participate on the game development process contributing sales statistics and market trends as references.
• Filter, clean and review data from internal and external sources
• Ability to create and maintain local data base pogroms using SQL server
• Ability to work in conjunction with the customer to create and sustain sales requests
• Ability to create and maintain quarterly reports, as designed
• Ability to be on-call during promotional events during non-standard work hours
• Assist in developing marketing plans that are complementary to the Lottery’s marketing strategies, including new game launches and promotions. Evaluate and report execution results.
• Ability to support marketing strategies from planning to execution and results tracking
• Assists in the design and execution of market research including focus groups and surveys
• Assists in the management and distribution of promotional materials and displays at the point of sales.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements/Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or 3 years of progressive marketing analysis skills
• 1-2 years of experience with relational database management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to college, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with one or more statistical languages and software
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the marketing or sales arena utilizing consumer product data
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to maintain an aggressive project management schedule within the scope of the customer’s expectations
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft products with proficiency in Excel
• Basics working knowledge of all Adobe products with emphasis in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong communication skills in both oral and written form
• Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies
• Strong time management skills
• Have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Fully Bilingual

• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Must have average organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collect and maintain documentation in accordance with Company protocol
• Ability to work in a small environment
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and stretch at a minimum of 50% of the time for any or all of the movements described.
