Job Description



Leads a group of Test Engineers responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and reliability for all software developed for retail, mobile and online distribution.  Act as a subject matter expert for software test methodologies and procedures in order to ensure testing efficiency and high level of quality. This role requires a forward thinking, critical problem solver who can communicate across the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

•Lead a team tasked with quality assurance for retail, mobile and online games
•Communicate with other departments within Social Gaming to prevent issues from arising and correct existing problems during the development cycle
•Handle escalations of any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved
•Implement software test methodologies/procedures and help manage the overall product development lifecycle
•Provide input to the weekly project status report for each assigned project.
•Responsible for mentorship, evaluations, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees

Job Requirements



Qualifications:

Education:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant area or equivalent experience

Required Experience:

•Minimum 5 years of experience in progressively responsible positions in field associated with software testing
•At least 2 years of management experience
•Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision
•Strong management and leadership skills with a proactive participative management style

Preferred Experience:

•Social game development
•Versed in agile development methodologies
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
•Knowledge of test methodologies and their implementation
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to efficiently regulate and prioritize tasks.
•Ability to meet quick deadlines and deliver precise, effective results in a fast-paced work environment.
