Job Description

Work with a multidisciplinary team to create and operate highly scalable world class products. Ensure proper operations of multiple products and/or platforms. Troubleshoot complex issues and communicate status and analysis to stakeholders. Drive projects to completion.

Essential Job Functions:
- Work with team to design, implement and maintain a scalable, flexible infrastructure for existing and future products.
- Work with team to create processes and automation for common tasks, including build servers, code and artifact repositories, release management, and application deployment and maintenance
- Work with team to anticipate and plan site capacity
- Support Linux and mobile/embedded platforms, enterprise messaging, database platforms, and virtualization/cloud infrastructure
- Analyze application and infrastructure to identify security risks to data and infrastructure
- Work with vendors and partners to ensure compatibility and interoperability of systems.
- Specify, configure, implement and maintain scalable and redundant database and NoSql environments
- Hands on scripting and configuration/maintenance of all systems
- Contribute to discussions, documentation and communications with internal and external groups

Other duties include:
- Monitoring system maintenance and configuration
- Network and system troubleshooting w/both vendors and partners as required

Job Requirements

BS Computer Science or 4+ years applicable experience

Required Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in the infrastructure services/DevOps arena
- 4+ years of experience working designing infrastructures which support an industry standard distributed technology platform (i.e. Python, Java)
- At least 1 year of experience working with industry standard virtualization and/or cloud platforms (i.e. VMWare, Xen, Openstack, EC2)
