Job Description



Summary: Responsible for supporting several internal tools and frameworks used for the creation of native mobile applications (iOS) as well as the creation of game content.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions
• Be an integral part of the design and architecture of the mobile platform
• Lead development of new features for the multiple iOS apps
• Maintain and Support existing iOS apps
• Support/enhance proprietary SDK for creating native mobile applications (iOS)
• Support/enhance proprietary SDK for creating game content in HTML5
• Support/enhance game test harness
• Support and administer AWS cloud-based service for game leaderboards and social channel connectivity
• Create native application builds for various clients
• Self-Starter and hands-on native and hybrid development experience
• Must be passionate about the work
• Research and understand requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and usability issues
• Research new technology and development tools to remain informed of current technology
• Focus primarily on a first class mobile experience
• Writes clean, well-documented, efficient, and standards-compliant code
• Collaborate in the planning, design and development for a release
• Expected to follow team processes and internal standards for coding
• Build and facilitate the development of strong relationships with other software development, business and management teams.

Job Requirements



• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
• 3+ professional experience as a software developer
• One or more published Android apps in the Apple appstore
• Experience using a VCS such as GIT, SVN, Bitkeeper etc
• Experience using tools such as JIRA, Rallydev, etc
• A personal portfolio demonstrating skills/abilities OR a list of working URLs and published mobile apps
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required
• Must be comfortable working in a team environment

• Mobile development for iOS using Objective C/Xcode
• Experience working with at least one of the frameworks such as Ionic with HTML 5 and Angular JS, Cordova, React Native
• Experience working with distributed Source Control Repository such as GIT, GITBLIT or Github
• Merging and Branching Best Practices for code management

Secondary Skill Requirements (must have at least one from this list):
• Mobile web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, CSS, XML, JSON)
• PHP/MySQL development experience
