This unique and exciting full time opportunity will be based in our brand new Asia Pacific Manufacturing Head Office where you will see yourself an integral part of our Warehouse and Logistics department. Reporting to the Asia Pacific Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Core duties & responsibilities

•Management of a small Store Person team & allocating picks to team members
•Management the daily cycle count team making sure SOX & SG process are followed
•Identifying areas for improvement across the warehouse, recommending improvements to Management and implementing improvements
•Take a lead role in stocktakes as well as overall ownership of the root cause of variances
•Developing and maintaining KPI's
•Management of the daily restocking of the pick face area
•Ensuring the team are accurate in count and stock reconciliation
•Training and developing team members
•Be prepared to meet deadlines including working overtime and weekends when required
•Provide reporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly as required

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•Advanced problem solving & analytical skills
•Ability to manage, mentor and engage a small team
•Ability to identify and improve processes
•Advanced Excel skills
•Advanced Navision ERP skills
•Ability to operate RF scanners and simple hand tools
•Ability to operate forklift, hand pallet jack and electric pallet jack
•Time management skills; the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
•High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Experience, Education and Qualification:

•High School Certificate & Tertiary training in Warehouse Operations highly regarded
•Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehousing or inventory control environment essential
•Minimum 2 years' experience supervising/managing staff
•Training of proper use of equipment
•Current valid driver's licence
•Current Forklift Licence (HR/MR)
