Job Description



The Sr. Manager serves as a translator between art and engineering, leading game studio artists and working closely with engineering management to ensure that the player-facing vision for the game is achieved. Other duties include managing and improving the content creation pipeline, directing game artists on asset implementation, and staying current on game industry tools and processes.

Job Requirements



Responsibilities:
• Provide a compelling vision for the art of a game.
• Provide direction to the artists in the team.
• Manage and lead the art team effectively.
• Assist with documenting best practices.
• Work with upper management in converting their vision into art

Education:
• BA/BS in Graphic Design or related field (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience)

Required Experience:
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in graphic design
• 3 or more years of slot game development experience in a lead role.
• In depth knowledge of concept art, 2D and 3D graphics.
• Experience creating motion graphics or animations (must have samples).
• Working knowledge of Unity, Unreal, or equivalent game engine.
• Understanding of versioning software.
• Experience in managing teams of 5 more people.
• Experience in managing creative projects.
