Job Description



This position manages aspects which operate and enhance enterprise systems in a global business environment. Systems include Oracle EBS, Workday, PeopleFluent, Agile PLM, a Data Warehouse Management Systems and various others.  This position will provide a centralized focal point of HR technology to improve workflow and process efficiency, and will implement and support technology solutions for all areas of HR. In addition to specific HCM related activities and team direction, the position will work with business leaders to collaborate and develop tactical and strategic HRIS plans. For day to day operations, the position will interact with the internal SME, HRBP’s, HR Service Center, Payroll, IT organization and external service providers to pursue multiple concurrent initiatives.  This individual will serve as the primary HCM Platform Functionality liaison to the business to understand business needs and help prioritize and lead the delivery team.

Essential Job Functions:
• Provide functional and technical leadership to HRIS and Business teams in all aspects of applications use. Lead team in designing solutions to business problems and create functional and technical documents to develop solutions. Determine methods and procedures to be implemented and used by the team and present to HR Operations Leadership.
• Participate in HR technology initiatives by leading the gathering of business configuration requirements, testing of the various interfaces as applicable and maintain other project management documentation such as fit/gap analysis.
• Establish and lead regular system data audits - managing setup tables and security tree, running Payroll interface, researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirement.
• Manage the creations of functional design specifications and test scripts for special projects / process improvements. Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities
• Recommend and implement process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and/or variations from established policy; leveraging Workday/Oracle.
• Participate in the development and support of new functionality and features within Workday /Oracle by providing user acceptance testing during system upgrades and deployments
• Design and develop advance reports adhering to internal standards to ensure reuse and maintainability
• Design and delivery Workday end-user training and documentation
• Function as a subject matter expert and lead on applications, and processes supported by team
• Interface with Business Stakeholders and assist in the prioritization of business needs, scope effort, lead development efforts, schedule delivery, manage delivery plans, report status and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with HR-PMO and HRIS Interface Management team to ensure system usage consistency across regions
• Oversee process change requests, system improvement, impact to reporting or any other major resource requests to HRIS leadership team for prioritization
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements



Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Human Resources.

Required Experience:
• 10 years configuration, implementation and / or business experience with legacy Oracle HR/Finance, as well as experience with cloud-based HCM tools/solutions

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Critical thinking, extensive problem solving skills, and the ability to research an issue and determine the root cause.
• Must be well organized, a self-starter, possess diligent follow-through capabilities, as well as strong customer service skills.
• Subject matter expert in the Software Development Lifecycle and operating systems for HCM
• Subject matter expert in tools to test software applications/systems
• Subject matter expert in development/modeling tools
• Proven business knowledge in HR, Payroll, Benefits and related standards and processes
• Strong change management acumen
• Must excel in team building and exhibit a collaborative approach to problem solving.
• Possess and consistently demonstrate a 'can do' attitude. The successful candidate must be able to challenge the norm to enable departmental and company growth.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with the ability to readily communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Solid project management  skills are required along with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities
• Proven business knowledge in HR, Payroll, Benefits and related processes

Physical Requirements: Ability to work on a computer in an office environment for the majority of the work day.

Work Conditions:  May require evening and/or weekend hours. May require travel.
