The person in this position ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Tribal Gaming Regulations and ordinances as well as compliance with gaming internal controls and policies and procedures.  Also ensures follow-up on any documentation, correspondence, corrective and/or disciplinary action on formal violations of any of the above with the appropriate supervisory personnel.  Oversees staff of Compliance personnel and assigns daily workloads accordingly. Work with Product
Management and Engineering/Development team to advise how products need to comply with existing and future regulations.  Meets with Regulators and Independent Test Labs on a regular basis to address concerns and discuss new products and features.

Job Requirements



Essential Job Functions:
• Interaction with individual department teams to ensure compliance needs are met and upheld
• Prioritizes, maintains and completes compliance testing at Regulators and ITL’s
• Conducts professional correspondence via verbal or written with department teams and or various compliance regulators
• Creates and maintains internal processes and procedures
• Provides training and guidance to all department  and internal teams regarding compliance requirements
• Assigns daily tasks to Compliance team and monitors status of completion

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent

Required Experience:
• At least 4 years of experience in governmental regulatory, independent test lab or audit preferably in the gaming industry
• Preferably two years in a leadership or supervisory role
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Ability to coach, train, facilitate, supervise, and lead teams effectively
• Strong knowledge of the business and long-term strategic goals
• Knowledge of external factors influencing division’s performance
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse work group
• Superior written, verbal, and telephone skills
• Ability to multi-task is required
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong analytical skills
