Job Description



The Insights Analyst is responsible for maintaining and analyzing various data sources and trends to deliver player, market, and customer insights that support player and market insight strategies and projects. This includes assisting with various primary research activiites including panels/communities management, survey design, survey collection and analysis. This position will support the market research team to aid in writing questionnaires/discussion guides, programming questionairres, fielding studies and analizing the data findings to aid in game development processes. Must be an organized self-starter who can work independently and in a team environment.  The ability to properly oversee and manage multiple projects at once is essential.
This position also works on other ad hoc research  projects as necessary and strong communication and relationship skills are a must. Strong understanding of excel is a must. Candidate with Tableau expereince is preferred.

Job Functions:
• Create and maintain studies, market research reports, with a goal of providing new insights, information and ideas that lead to long-term growth and player-driven game design.
• Assist with qualitative and quantitative research projects and analysis (prototype testing, player intercepts, hardware testing, segmentation analysis, managing online panels and communities)
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and design reports, dashboards, and visualizations of various datasets for various team functions
• Participate in meetings with senior leadership, internal clients and vendors as needed.
• Support other departments with Market Research data needs as needed (i.e. Game Development, Business Analysis, Sales, Marketing, Product Management)
• Assist with monitoring and analyzing all gaming market trends and competitors to aid in strategic insights reports and dashboards that provide strategic insights for various departments.
• Assist in the processing and analysis of Player Segmentation data and presentations
• Work with large quantitative data sets using excel, Alteryx and tableau
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Prepare and conduct presentations on analysis findings
• Travel to casino, lottery and corporate locations to support player and market research initiatives as needed.

Job Requirements



• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Mathematics, Marketing Research or related field
• 2 years working experience in analytics, market research, insights, research, or other related field
• Gaming/casino, or supplier side market research, or CPG industry preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with one or more statistical languages and software (SAS, SPSS, Stata, Matlab, Python, Alteryx, Microstrategy, SQL)
• Experience with Tableau data visualization software preferred.

Work Conditions:  May require weekend and evening hours.   Travel is required.
