We are looking for a passionate individual with a can do attitude to join our Service Department as a Trainee Service Technician. All training and gaming licenses provided!

As a Service Technician you would be responsible for installing and providing technical service to SG Gaming Machines, Electronic Table Games and products across NSW pubs & clubs, including investigating mechanical and electrical faults and performing repairs. You must have excellent attention to detail, be a strong communicator at all levels and have a calm attitude with the ability to thrive within a team environment.

As a Service Technician you will be responsible for the following:

Duties & Responsibilities:
•Perform and complete field installations, conversions and upgrades to a high standard
•Process and test return orders – including fault finding and repair
•Record and report the completion of work, ensuring all required data is captured
•Perform operator and technical training as required.
•Escalate faults as required to ensure timely resolution and maintain a high level of customer service.
•Fulfil work effectively to satisfy both Customer and Sales Team requirements.
•Report on a weekly basis operational issues that arise.
•Process inventory adjustments into stock as required.
•Liaise with Production and Order management teams to ensure required information is available to meet installation schedule.
•Travel interstate or International as required
•Working to a timeline
•Flexible work times include On Call roster for afterhours service calls and weekends and trade show setups

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•Effective communication skills – both written and verbal
•Ability to apply analytical reasoning and diplomacy when problem-solving
•Organisation and stakeholder management skills – including meeting demanding deadlines, a high level of initiative, and performing autonomously.
•exposure of computer systems, networking and fault finding
•Good trouble shooting skills
•Some electronics knowledge or interest
•NSW drivers licence is a required
•The ability to obtain and maintain a NSW Gaming Licence

Job Requirements

Experience, Education and Qualification:

•Gaming industry experience is desirable but not critical
•Qualifications in a technical discipline are an advantage
