Job Description

The person in this position provides high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions.  May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists executives with word processing and in the preparation and distribution of letters, memoranda, and other documents
• Conducts research on various topics
• Performs projects under the direction of executives
• Devises and maintains clerical policy and procedure manual
• Analyzes and interprets reports and statistics
• Answers and screens telephone calls
• Files and mails documents and other materials
• Handles correspondence that does not require the executive’s attention
• May schedule and organize meetings, travel, and department activities

Job Requirements

Training and/or Experience:
• Two to three years of previous related experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must have Power Point presentation skills
• Must have multi-tasking experience and abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate at both the lowest and highest levels in the organization
• Must have excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of multiple meetings

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Some business school preferred
