Job Description

The person in this position will support and maintain advanced software products and tools used to configure, build, package, deploy, and test software.  Has passion for DevOps and understands its importance in the software supply chain. Responsible for providing customer services and maintaining automated applications for the software release engineering services (SRES) department. Supports customers and solves operational issues daily while maintaining and enhancing automated software solutions that enable the company to meet current and future business goals

Essential Job Functions:
• Maintains products built with sufficient quality and efficiency to meet business goals

• Ensures all SRES produced builds satisfy regulatory submission requirements
• Develops strategies and creates an environment for increasing the quality and quantity of products delivered to the company software supply chain
• Trains, monitors, and mentors fellow Engineers on a foundation level of software engineering practices while applying company standards and practices
• Maintains liaison with Engineers and peers
• Individual contributor
• Ability to understand requirements, architectures, and development tools
• Knowledge transfer and mentorship to lower level engineers
• Total commitment to customer satisfaction
• Aggressively pursue resolution to issues with SRES systems and tools
• Demonstrates troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multi-task between service requests and operational/development tasks
• Needs minimal assistance to determine method and procedures for new assignments
• Proactively researches and evaluates new technologies

Other Duties and Responsibilities
• Will travel as needed for training to fully support customers

Job Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in a software development environment preferred
• Desires a career in DevOps
• Gaming industry experience is preferred

• BSCS, BSCE, or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Some development abilities in C#, C++, VBScript, JavaScript, ASP.Net, Html, Perl, awk, python, Lua
• Power Shell, Batch scripting, and Shell scripting abilities
• Experience with Databases like Microsoft Access and SQL Server
• Experience with software version control systems. Perforce, GIT, and CVS preferred
• Experience with Unix and Windows Operating systems
• Experience with Virtual environments, Jenkins Automation, Packer/Docker, Chocolatey a plus
• Proficient with Atlassian tools JIRA and Confluence a plus
• Proficient in MS Office
