Job Description



As the Telecommunications Coordinator, you would be responsible for internal communications, administering wireless and wireline service tickets, accuracy reviewing carrier orders and ensuring order entry into Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Systems. You will follow Policy and & SOPs to ensures all information is received for service orders, provisioning, network support, proper invoice billing and support.    
Responsible for the ordering and tracking of telecommunication expenses from multiple different Telecom carriers. Additionally, the position requires tracking of TEM inventory, auditing, updating, validating and improving historical carrier billing and inventory data records, create telecom reports and assist in ongoing projects. Maintain a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to promote positive working relationships inside and outside of Scientific Games.   

JOB FUNCTIONS:
Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.
• Analyzes, researches and updates existing Telecom (Wireless and Wireline) inventory information
• Reviews orders placed via Telecom order website
• Forwards orders to Telecom Carriers
• Verifies orders have been provisioned accurately and completed by carriers
• Correctly enters inventory data and information in TEM system.  
• Maintains and tracks all Telecom Inventory that is purchased by the company.
• Creates reports and reviews costs, invoices, trends, and rate changes from TEM system.
• Communicates internal issues and external supplier problems to manager
• Utilize procurement system technologies to reduce the total cost of goods and services.
• Support business process initiatives to increase productivity, quality and effectiveness of procurement.
• Conduct business dealings with the highest level of integrity and ethics both internally and externally.
• Assure internal controls are adequate and followed in order to protect SG technology assets.
• Project management skills and the ability to resolve complex problems and issues
• Understanding of Carrier Services, Contract Pricing, Accounting codes, Customer Services
• Responsible for responding, fulfilling and closing out JIRA change management tickets for customers
• Participate in Telecom Projects, Carrier Weekly and SG Network Implementation / TTUs meetings.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and improve processes
• Assist Manager / Supervisor with escalations as needed.

Job Requirements



BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:
• 1-3+ years job-related work experience.
• Strong familiarity with telecommunication expense management tools.
• Experience in enterprise-wide systems tools is preferred, e.g. Oracle EBS, JIRA Service Management, Asentinel TEM, ComView TEM, MS Office 365, etc.

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:
• Minimum of a High School diploma and advance training; or college degree desirable.
• Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
• Certifications in Project Management, AOTMP, Telecom Billing or IT Service Desk is desirable.
• Strong understanding of IT, Telecommunications, Telecom Administration, Networks & Provisioning.

 SPECIFIC SKILLS:
• Strong analytical, mathematical, computer skills
• Organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communications skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Must be a self-starter and have a good understanding of telecom fundamentals.
• Must have knowledge of business and financial accounting concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and objectives with limited supervision.
• High degree of attention to details, problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Excellent math, data input, typing, written and verbal communication skills.  
• Ability to provide courteous and timely service to internal/external customers.
• Familiarity with Tango/Asentinel/Calero/ComView or similar TEM inventory and billing system is a plus!
