Job Description

Develop test plans for configurator model changes, and Oracle Configurator environment changes.  Assist with the selection, integration, and implementation of automated testing tools for the Oracle configurator developer.  Consult with a variety of departments to gather product requirements that facilitate the development of test plans and configurator models.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and maintain test architecture, and assist with the selection, development, integration, and implementation of automated tools to support testing.
• Participate in development and testing of all Oracle Configurator Models.
• Gather Product Requirements from various departments to assist in test plan and configurator model development.
• Develop, review, and execute test plans and scripts for changes made to Oracle Configurator Models.
• Work with appropriate Product Configuration Engineer, and IT personnel to ensure that issues found during testing are resolved prior to production release.

Job Requirements


Degree in a Technical Discipline

Required Experience:

2-3 years of relevant testing work experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Understand ERP concepts (Item Master, bills of material, configurator, routings, etc)  
• Must have strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
• Must have good verbal and written communications skills
• Detail oriented, organized, and ability to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to complete assigned tasks on time with high quality
• Must have mechanical and electrical aptitude, especially understanding of bills of material concepts
• Experience in deriving test plans/cases from product requirements
• Oracle 11i Configurator Developer
• Oracle 11i ERP Modules
• Experience with HP QuickTest Professional
• Experience with HP QualityCenter

Office environment

Work Conditions:
May require weekend and evening hours
