Job Description



Job Summary:
The Associate Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing support in the areas of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as providing expense control analysis within the Scientific Games Social line of business.  

Essential Job Functions:
•Develop strong working relationships with the principal business stakeholders and acquire an intimate knowledge of Social Gaming products and financial processes
•Support the preparation and maintenance of P&L and capital forecasts, as well as annual budgets
•Prepare analysis of actual revenue vs. forecast/budget
•Provide monthly financial reporting and control support to managers, including researching and following up on account transactions, accruals, etc. as needed to enhance transparency and control of spending  
•Maintain daily and weekly KPI reporting
•Support finance/accounting organization in ensuring appropriate controls are in place, including ad hoc reporting for accounting support and audits

Job Requirements



Qualifications:

Education:
•Bachelor’s degree required; degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred

Required Experience:
•1-2 years of experience working in finance/accounting positions

Preferred Experience:
•Experience in a technology-focused and/or online business

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Proficiency in Excel and Word
•Good understanding of accounting principles and procedures
•Experience with Oracle ERP and/or Hyperion systems preferred
•Detail oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
•Strong initiative with a proven ability to follow through on projects and bring them to a timely completion
•Comfortable working independently under tight deadlines
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
•Adept at working collaboratively and cross-functionally

Work Conditions:

 May require evenings and weekends and occasional travel.
