Job Description



The Assistant Operations Manager is the focal point of contact with the Multi-tenant Data Center. This position oversees the complete operation within the multi-tenant Data Center. This position maintains the day-to-day work flow of real-time transaction based wagering systems and the other Multi-tenant systems within the Data Center. This position will take action to perform the operations duties and responsibility of the operations staff. Give direction to and work with the operations staff to ensure flows are processed and systems monitored.  This position will work with different customers and different requirements.  This position will work with different groups to accomplish Security requirements and support all audits.  

- Manager the day to day workflow of the Multi-Tenant data center and ensure all responsibilities are being performed.
- Provide direction and feedback to the operations staff on work performed or designated.
- Ability to create and maintain a work schedule for all Multi-Tenant data center employees.
- Maintains the timecards of the Multi-Tenant data center employees through E-Time.
- Ability to manage the Multi-Tenant data center with the hiring, discipline, and termination of employees.
- First level of support in the event of an operational issue.
- Identify, trouble shoot, and escalate operational problems as they occur.
- Create and maintain operational procedures.
- Ability to work with all levels of management and communicate problems effectively and efficiently.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks as assigned.
- Must have a flexible work schedule and work overtime as assigned.
- Ability to fill in for absent staff members to support the operations department
- Ability to work with field staff to trouble shoot and resolve different situations
- Ability to work with Ops Support to trouble shoot and resolve different situations
- Ability to work with Software and Third Party Vendors to trouble shoot and resolve different situations
- Ability to support UAT environments and customer testing

Job Requirements



- Bachelors of Science degree in computer science and/or 5 years of related work experience

Required Experience:  
- 5 years of experience in the gaming industry with strong emphasis on systems hardware and network communications.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Must have above-average organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Advanced computer software and hardware technologies
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies
- Strong time management skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office products.

- May require weekend and evening hours
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- On Call 24/7 for operational support
